As part of its New Year exhibition program, Gallery Name is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Tsuboyama Sayuri. Known for her experimental approach, Tsuboyama incorporates her background in biology from high school into her artistic practice, creating unique works that utilize the chemical reactions of oil paint.

This exhibition explores the expansion of the narrative previously explored in her works. While her earlier pieces were centered on human existence, this new series shifts its focus to humans as an integral part of nature, broadening her artistic vision and presenting a deeper, more immersive perspective.

갤러리 명은 신년 기획적으로 츠보야마 사유리 작가의 개인전을 개최합니다. 실험적인 접근을 즐기는 츠보야마 사유리 작가는 고등학교 시절 생물학을 전공했던 경험을 바탕으로 유화 물감의 화학 반응을 활용한 독창적인 작품들을 선보일 예정입니다.

이번 전시는 작가가 지난 작품에서 다룬 서사가 확장되는 과정을 담고 있습니다. 기존의 작업이 인간을 중심으로 표현되었다면, 이번 전시에서는 자연의 일부로 존재하는 인간을 탐구하며 한층 넓어진 예술 세계를 펼쳐 보입니다.
